Election Theft; An American Plague Spreading Around the World
I have this theory that election theft is becoming more and more rampant throughout the world.
I
blame the members of congress who have intentionally neglected to pass
tight legislation banning un-recountable electronic voting. The US is
now setting the standard for crooked elections around the world. Shame
on the congress.
There
have been more than enough warnings. Rush Holt made a half-hearted
effort to at least put a band-aid on the problem. Even his efforts ended
up being watered down, probably due to lobbyists.
It
used to be that exit polls were routinely used in US elections. In
other nations, exit polls are so trusted that they are actually used to
call the elections, if there's a delay in the actually tallying. Not in
the USA anymore. In recent years, exit polls haven't worked anymore.
That's because the elections, run on electronic machines, have been
rigged, with no way to accurately and reliably count the votes. That's
now the American way.
It used to be that the
USA set the gold standard for democracy. That time has passed. Just as
the US is no longer the nation whose constitution is the one that's
imitated, the US has become a pariah for the world when it comes to
voting. Now, crooked elections and the practices that set up and enable
them are routine in foreign nations. The US stopped doing exit polls.
More and more nations will ban them. Why? Because if it's good enough
for the U.S., it's good enough for crooked regimes and authoritarian run
states.
I think I know why both parties have
failed to pass tough voting technology laws that require fully, reliably
recountable paper ballot records. They think they can take advantage of
the broken system. it's time that all members of congress take a stand.
Pass tough laws that ban e-voting or be seen as co-conspirators in
spreading the election theft plague across the planet.
The
USA's karmic balance is getting as bet as its balance of trade. Soon,
American music and movies won't be able to balance the antipathy and
contempt the USA earns for setting suck low standards and providing
cover for fascists and corrupt regimes. For shame!!
